Handicapping and practice begins the week of Jan. 7, 2013.  Racing starts the following week and continues every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday night at 7 p.m. until March 14, 2013.  The League awards party is Wednesday March 20 at 7 p.m.

NOTICE - POSTED 3/3/13 - NEW MAKE UP RACE ADDED TO SCHEDULE!
While our Speed Series rules do not allow a make up race due to weather cancellation such as the foggy night of 1/11/13, they do allow a make up race in the event of other cancellation reasons such as the lighting failure on 2/22/13.  Therefore, we are adding a make up race to the series on Friday night March 15, 2013.  We’ll be racing Super G on Smokey at 7pm with food in the bar and awards afterward as usual.

This schedule allows for a great weekend of racing as this race is followed by the Nub’s Open at 11am Saturday morning March 16th and the series finale Super G on Sno Pro Sunday morning March 17th at 9:30 all of which count toward the Series point totals.

We’re looking forward to seeing you this Friday night for GS racing on Scarface at 7pm and then the following Friday night, Saturday and Sunday as we celebrate the end of our racing season with a weekend of great competition!

Format:  7 race series for expert skiers consisting of 5 Friday nights (1/11/13 – GS on Valley, 1/25/13 - Super G on Valley, 2/8/13 – GS on Smokey, 2/22/13 – Super G on Smokey and 3/8/13 – GS on Scarface), the Nub’s Nob Open Slalom on Smokey on March 16, 2013 and the season ending Super G on March 17, 2013 on Sno Pro at 9:30 am.  Friday night racing will begin at 7:00 pm.  Nightly course inspection begins at 6:20 p.m.  Cancelled race dates due to weather conditions will not be made up.  Helmets approved for retail sale for skiing are required for all Super G and GS races, penalty is disqualification.  Fees for the entire series are $60 and includes a T-shirt.  Information and registration is available at the front desk.
