NNR Competition Team is open to US Ski & Snowboard members in good standing who plan to compete in most US and/or FIS events and pursue goals of competing at the highest US Ski & Snowboard levels.

Registration is online only. The registration deadline is December 1, 2023.

All registrants (or the parent/legal guardian thereof) must understand, accept and agree to our Adult Release Terms 2023-24 or Minor Release Terms 2023-24, as applicable, in order to proceed.

Training begins as soon as conditions allow and concludes at the end of the season. Training sessions are subject to change and vary due to race schedules, but typically follow:

• Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.
• Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 to 10:30 AM and noon to 1:30 PM.

NNR Competition Team Includes:

• Training during all available sessions.
• Competition Team-only training sessions on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
• Coaching at US CR3 events at Nub’s Nob
• Guaranteed spot in Thanksgiving or Holiday Camp.
• Free NASTAR from 1:30 – 2:30 PM when available.
• Fall dry land training.

All training times are subject to change.  

NNR Competition Team does not include:

• Travel expenses and coaching fees for off-site events. A coaching fee of $100 will be charged for Central Division overnight events and $40 for off-site daily events that do not require an overnight stay(Highlands, Boyne Mt., etc.).
• Out-of-region events will be billed at separate rate depending on travel costs.
• Additional training camps.
• Event entry fees.
• Equipment.
• Lift tickets or season passes.

Optional add-ons are:

• Holiday Camp: Daily training from December 26 – 31, 2023 for an additional $600. Tentative schedule (subject to change):
  • Dec 26: SL only. Meet at Race Arena (Rope Tow) 9:00 – 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM.
  • Dec 27-29: Daily Plan: 6:30-8:30 AM Meet at the Yellow Chair SL Chute/ Scarface, 9:45 – 10:30: meet at Yellow chair area for GS Skills, 10:45 – noon: meet at the Race Arena for GS training, 1:30-300 PM: meet at the Race Arena for SL training.
  • Dec. 30-31: 6:30-8:30 AM SL Chute/ Scarface, 9:45 – 10:30 AM: GS Skills, 10:45 AM – noon: Race Arena GS training.
• Comp. Team Tune Service Partnership: base grinding, edge sharpening and hot wax as required at the Technology Center for all race skis belonging to the member for the duration of the season. Sufficient drop-off time required (does not include hilltop tech. services) for an additional $500.
