HEAD Head-2-Head 2023

- When: Sunday March 5, 2023 at 10:00 am.
- What: Head-to-head dual-paneled slalom race with a cattle gate start.
- Where: JB Arena, Nub’s Nob.
- Who: Skiers of all ages, limit first 100 racers.
- Entry Fee: $10.00 (does not include lift ticket). There are no refunds
- Registration: Online only. Registrations must be submitted by 5:00 pm on Friday, March 3rd. Limited to the first 100 racers.
- Age Group Format: First run begins at 10:00 am. Running order is women before men of each age group in the following order: 8 and under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 70 and over, 60-69, 50 to 59, 40 to 49, 30 to 39, 18 to 29, 15 to 17. Second run follows immediately after the first. Groups will run in identical order on the opposite course. Ranking is determined by cumulative time from both runs.
- Elimination Round Format: Starts at noon with the top 8 male and female competitors overall will advance to a bracketed round. This is a single elimination with competitors taking a run on each course before advancing or being knocked out. The female brackets will run first, alternating with the male brackets in the following order: #1 vs. #8, #4 vs. #5, #3 vs. #6, then #2 vs. #7. Brackets will advance until the last man and woman standing
- Awards: An awards ceremony will take place at the bottom of JB Arena immediately after the elimination round is complete. All racers are also automatically entered into a drawing for new pair of Head skis. The winner will be announced at the ceremony. Results will be posted at nubsnob.com.
- Release Forms: All participants must have a current Adult Release Form (age 18+) or Minor Release Form (17 & younger) on file, as applicable.
