Howdy skiers and snowboarders,

Thank you for a great 50th anniversary season at the home of "The Midwest's Best Snow".

Thousands of skiers, snowboarders, cross country and telemarkers took lessons and learned or improved at their chosen "sport of a lifetime" with The Winter Sport Schools.

Students from 23 of our United States and 56 countries from around the world have visited The Winter Sport Schools over the last 2 seasons alone!  Now, that's the definition of a truly "international" ski school.  Skiers and riders from Australia to Alabama and from Michigan to Malaysia have succeeded at winter sports with our great staff of teachers.

As the season ended we are super proud of the teaching and customer care of all 129 of our contracted instructors and coaches.  The 5 person desk staff was the best ever with Julie at the helm.   Who could've ever imagined a school of this size when Dorie and Nub Sarns started Nub's Nob in 1958?  That's a credit to all the fabulous instructors who have turned folks onto winter fun over these 50 winters.

We are also thrilled to say our competition department, Nub's Nob Racing, placed 34 skiers on the Michigan All State ski teams and that coaches from our program won 3 of 4 state ski titles.  Athletes affiliated with Nub's Nob Racing also filled the academic all-state teams across the state.  2 of our skiers qualified and raced nationally in the United States Ski Association J3 Junior Olympics held in Vail, Colorado.

Have a great summer and fall.  The 51st season will be here before you know it.  Ride your bike, take long hikes, get some new gear and you'll be ready for another winter of learning and fun.
