BIG NEWS! Nub's Nob skiers win and dominate USASA halfpipe ski competition at Copper Mt., Colorado!

COPPER MOUNTAIN, Colo. -- Petoskey's Rockwell Nixon won the Junior Men's Division halfpipe ski competition in the United States of America Snowboarding Association's national championships held at Copper Mt. in Colorado. Nixon claimed the gold on skis in the 16-19 age group on Monday April 6, 2009.

Other Nub's Nob skiers, Cam Wilcox of Petoskey (fifth, age 16-19, halfpipe), Durand Nixon of Petoskey (ninth, age 11-15 halfpipe) and Hunter Arbaugh of Harbor Springs (13th, age 11-15 halfpipe) also had great scores.

All 4 young men competed on skis and gave credit to our nationally recognized Terrain Park for helping them prepare for their championship performances. Congratulations fellows!
