| How
do you demo skis?
It's easy! The introduction of shaped skis has made skiing
easier and more fun for lots of Nub's Nob skiers! Newly designed
skis improve the way you ski. The "carved turn",
only performed by experts in the past, can now be a part of
any skiers repertoire. New skis are much lighter, shorter
and easier to turn than any skis ever made!
Ski area demo centers, like the Nub's Nob
Technology Center, have also changed the way many skiers make
the decision on which skis fit their style when investing
in a new pair. Each of the 7 leading ski companies in the
Nub's Nob Technology Center offers a variety of shaped skis.
Each model then comes in a bevy of sizes, usually quite different
from what you are currently skiing on! That's where the Nub's
Nob Technology Center comes in.
Nearly 100 pair of high performance skis
are just one step from the "Midwest's Best Snow",
right out the front door of the Nub's Nob Technology Center.
Our expert staff will help narrow your choices and pick the
appropriate skis to test for your size and ability. Then it's
up to you! Try a few pair and you'll have found the perfect
match!
How can I buy them?
Over 30 ski retailers representing more than 100 locations from Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois
participate as Partner Program Retailers.
Partner Program Retailers have the ability to offer you
a discount on the cost a demo when you test new skis at the
Nub’s Nob Technology Center. The retailer can then offer
customers a discount when purchasing new skis. This new concept
in demo centers is the first of its' kind in the Midwest.
"We know many of our customers have never tried new shaped
skis, creating this demo center will allow them the opportunity
to make sure they are purchasing the proper pair of skis in
the right size," said Guest Services Director Scott Stillings.
Treat yourself to an easier, more exciting and fun time on
the "Midwest's Best Snow" by visiting and testing
skis at the Nub's Nob Technology Center.
